Our Terms & Conditions Policy

Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a trip with us. We strongly recommend that you also read the Essential Trip Information relating to your trip prior to booking to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and physical demands of the trip you are undertaking.

Contract

The booking conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Extreme Climbers and the services provided by it.

By booking with a trekking tours with Extreme Climbers and paying a non-refundable booking deposit which usually will be 50% of the tour cost , or full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these booking conditions. Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed in writing to you and a contract becomes binding on the date shown on your confirmation letter or email.

If you do not understand any of the terms and conditions please feel free to discuss these with the representative whom you are dealing.

Our Liabilities and Limitation

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Extreme Climbers act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

Change/Cancellation of Booking by participant

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing.

  • If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:- 30 days or more prior to departure, we will retain the deposit;– between 15 and 29 days prior to departure, we will retain 50% of the total booking cost– 14 days or less prior to departure, we will retain 100% paid by you in connection with the booking.

Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour/trip price. While every effort is made to ensure the safety for all, it is highly recommended that you obtain personal travel insurance that is adequate to cover you for any event. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability. Extreme Climbers also recommends your travel Insurance covers cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

Age & Health Requirements

A minimum age at the time of travel applies to many of our trips – please see specific Essential Trip Information for details. For the majority of our trips we have no upper age limit though we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding and passengers must ensure that they are suitably fit to allow full participation.  All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or in lieu of a legal guardian, by an escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian. The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the traveller under the age of 18 day to days care.. Please note, families must upgrade from dorm-share accommodation to private rooms where applicable.   We cannot guarantee triple or joining rooms for families; accompanying adults may be required to share with others in the group on a twin share basis.
